An exquisite sample of pure metallic europium. Generally speaking, the europium metal we see has a black appearance. This is because it is very reactive and is very easy to oxidize. At this time, only by using pliers to expose a fresh surface, we can slightly See its true face. At the same time, commercially available cheap metallic europium usually contains large amounts of impurities and has poor purity. The sample in my collection is a very pure europium crystal cluster obtained by physical vapor deposition under special conditions. The absence of any machined appearance allows us to fully appreciate the charm of this element. From the moment it was born, it has been strictly sealed in a special quartz container, which is filled with an inert gas atmosphere. Therefore, it can always maintain its bright appearance without being affected.
